10:30 Chef Rodney Drake. “ Chef’s Specialty”
No stranger to the kitchen, Rodney Drake is Executive Chef of Holiday
Inn- Convention center and Rudy’s Red Eye Grill. He brings a wide range
of expertise to this area. He is certified by The American Culinary
Federation in several kitchen disciplines. His practical experience
includes some impressive award winning culinary endeavors. The Wausau
luxury hotel, Jefferson Street, is where he served as opening Executive
Chef for City Grill-An American Bistro. Southwestern foods are Rodney’s
passion. His favorite seasoning is basil, and his favorite kitchen tool

12:00 Chef Jim Gitter. “Salmon –a Great Catch Today”.
Jim is well known in the culinary world of Central Wisconsin. Mention
his name and people know him from his years of cooking for several area
restaurants as well as the creative cuisine he served as owner of the
Silver Coach from 1986-2001. After selling the Coach, Jim launched a new
business called Art Culinaire featuring Jim’s work a personal chef
preparing and serving specialty meals and special events in people’s
homes.
2:00 Nancy Schmidt “Hostess with the Mostest”.
Nancy is Stevens Point’s renowned hostess famous for her many gatherings
benefiting such local charities as Big Brothers and Sisters as well as
The United Way. Whether it is a casual cocktail hour or sit down dinner
for 12, Nancy carries off impeccable get togethers. Nancy will be
presenting food items featured in the Milwaukee Junior League Cookbook,
a fantastic tool for any hostess offering every thing from appetizers to
dessert that can grace your table for any meal.

12:00 Chef Lydia Walters. “a Taste of Bistro 212”
Lydia is the Executive Chef for Bistro 212, located in the Adventure 212
facility. She is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu of Minneapolis, MN and has
worked throughout the United States, including Bar Harbor ME, as well as
Hudson, WI. In Minnesota she worked at California Café as a Pastry Chef
and then helped open the Le Meridien in downtown Minneapolis, where she
had the honor of working with some of the best pastry chefs and sous
chefs and even working on a James Beard Dinner. Her Hudson experience
included working at a quaint little wine and beer bar where she was
given 2 pizza ovens, a George Forman grill and 2 hot plates to create
on. Currently running Bistro 212, Lydia not only cooks and creates
menus, but she also is focusing on teaching her customers-adults and
kids alike- how to eat better and enjoy it too. See more at

2:00 Tonya Houk “ 29 Minutes to Dinner”
Tonya is currently a Sales Director for The Pampered Chef and will be
featuring products from her booth at the Home Show. Easy to prepare
dinner as well as the tools necessary to do it. Already we can’t wait to
start eating!
